16 November 2010: The UNFCC Secretariat has published the scenario note (FCCC/KP/AWG/2010/16) for the 15th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP 15), which will take place in Cancun, Mexico, beginning on 29 November 2010. In the note, the AWG-KP Chair indicates that he intends to include in his proposal elements on all aspects of the work of the AWG-KP in the form of a draft decision, aimed at substantially advancing the work of the group. Taking into account the limted time available, the AWG-KP Chair also proposes to establish a single contact group covering all aspects of work of the AWG-KP. A contact group, to be established, will organize the work. This contact group, to be chaired by the Chair of the AWG-KP, will be open to all parties and observer organizations. [The Scenario Note]
