Climate Action Network has made submissions on further views on information on potential environmental, economic and social consequences, including spillover effects, of tools, policies, measures and methodologies available to Annex I Parties, and on views and proposals for further elaboration of the options, elements and issues contained in the annex “Options and proposals on how to address definitions, modalities, rules and guidelines for the treatment of land use, land-use change and forestry” (LULUCF), which will be examined by the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP) at its eighth session. The Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) at its sixth session will examine submissions on ideas and proposals on the elements of paragraph 1 of the Bali Action Plan received by the Climate Action Network, Munich Climate Insurance Initiative, and the World Wildlife Fund.
