24 April 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has received a number of submissions from intergovernmental organizations containing ideas and proposals on the elements of paragraph 1 of the Bali Action Plan.
These submissions to the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) to be considered at its sixth session, to be held Bonn, Germany, from 1-12 June 2009 were received from: the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) (on grasslands), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and the Sustainable Building Initiative (SBCI).
