UNFCCC Publishes Synthesis Report of Technical Assessments of Forest Management Reference Levels

The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a synthesis of the 38 technical assessment reports of the forest management reference levels submitted by Annex I parties.

The technical assessments, which were performed by six expert review teams, took place as centralized activities from 23–27 May 2011 and 30 May to 3 June 2011 in Bonn, Germany, and were coordinated by the UNFCCC Secretariat.

22 November 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the synthesis report of the technical assessments of the forest management reference level submissions (FCCC/KP/AWG/2011/INF.2).

The report contains a synthesis of the 38 technical assessment reports of the forest management reference levels in accordance with decision 2/CMP.6 and its appendix II, part II (“Guidelines for review of submissions of information on forest management reference levels”). The technical assessments, which were performed by six expert review teams (ERTs), took place as centralized activities from 23–27 May 2011, and from 30 May to 3 June 2011 in Bonn, Germany, and were coordinated by the UNFCCC Secretariat.[Publication: Report of Technical Assessment of Forest Management Reference Levels]
