UNFCCC Publishes Submissions on the Nairobi Work Programme

The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the submissions received from five parties and two UN organizations containing their proposals for upcoming activities under the Nairobi Work Programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change.

UNFCCC5 October 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a document containing proposals by parties and relevant organizations for upcoming activities under the Nairobi Work Programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.6).

The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its 34th session, requested parties and relevant organizations to submit their proposals for upcoming activities under the Nairobi Work Programme. The Secretariat has received 12 such submissions. This document contains the five submissions from parties, namely Colombia, El Salvador on behalf of Belize, Guatemala and Honduras, Pakistan, the EU and the US; and the two submissions from UN organizations, namely the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP).
