22 June 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a notification of upcoming deadlines for the submission of information and views by parties invited by Convention and Kyoto Protocol bodies.

The note reflects the outcomes of the recent sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) and the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP). The submissions, which will be compiled by issue, address, inter alia: further commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (2 July); arrangements for intergovernmental meetings (16 August); Article 6 of the Convention (16 August); the Nairobi Work Programme on Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Change (16 August); standardized baselines under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) (16 August); matters relating to Least Developed Countries (LDCs), including the LDC Fund (30 and 17 August); revision of the UNFCCC reporting guidelines on annual inventories for parties included in Annex I to the Convention (15 September); and research and systemic observation (20 September).
