UNFCCC Publishes SBSTA Agenda for Bonn

At its 34th session, the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) will consider, inter alia: the Nairobi work programme; REDD; development and transfer of technologies; and economic and social consequences of response measures.

28 April 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the annotated provisional agenda (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/1) for the 34th session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA).

This meeting, which will be held in conjunction with the 34th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), will take place from 6-16 June 2011, in Bonn, Germany. SBSTA 34 will consider, inter alia: the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change; reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries (REDD); development and transfer of technologies; economic and social consequences of response measures; methodological issues under the the Convention and Protocol; impact of climate change on water resources and water resource management; and work programme on agriculture.
