UNFCCC12 November 2009: The UNFCCC has released an advance report by the Chair of the Expert Group on Technology Transfer (EGTT) evaluating its work in 2008-2009 and presenting its 2010-2011 work programme, to be considered at the 31st sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), and Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), to be held from 7-18 December 2009, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Report of the EGTT for 2009 (FCCC/SB/2009/INF.6) focuses on the EGTT’s work to date on topics including: the development of indicators to evaluate effectiveness of technology transfer; technology needs assessments; innovative options for financing technology development and transfer; furthering cooperation with international organizations; and dialogues with the business community.
