UNFCCC Publishes REDD+ Submission from Angola

Angola's submission (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.7/Add.2) was made in response to the invitation by the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its 34th session, to Parties and accredited observers to submit their views on methodological guidance for activities relating to REDD+.

1 December 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published an addendum (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.7/Add.2) to views on methodological guidance for activities relating to REDD+ (reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation and the role of conservation, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of forest carbon stocks in developing countries).The new submission, from the Government of Angola, is in addition to the 21 submissions contained in document FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.7 and the submission contained in document FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.7/Add.1.

The submissions were made in response to the invitation by the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its 34th session, to Parties and accredited observers to submit their views on methodological guidance for activities relating to REDD+.
