UNFCCC Publishes Monaco’s GHG Inventory Report
story highlights

The Expert Review Team found that Monaco submitted a complete set of common reporting format tables for the years 1990–2008 and that the national inventory report is also complete in terms of geographical coverage, years and sectors, and generally complete in terms of categories and gases.

24 January 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report (FCCC/ARR/2010/MCO) of the review of the annual inventory submission of Monaco.

The report indicates that the Expert Review Team (ERT) found the greenhouses gas (GHG) inventory of Monaco to be generally in line with the UNFCCC reporting guidelines, the revised 1996 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines, the IPCC good practice guidance, and the IPCC good practice guidance for Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF). Monaco has submitted a complete set of common reporting format tables for the years 1990–2008 and the national inventory report is complete in terms of geographical coverage, years and sectors, and generally complete in terms of categories and gases. However, the ERT found that some of the categories, particularly in the energy and LULUCF sectors, were reported as not estimated.

The UNFCCC Secretariat has also published a Corrigendum (FCCC/ARR/2010/BGR/Corr.1) to the report of the individual review of the annual inventory submission of Bulgaria submitted in 2010. [Monaco Inventory Report] [Bulgaria Inventory Report Corrigendum]
