UNFCCC Publishes Italy’s GHG Inventory Report
story highlights

The expert review team finds Italy's inventory submission to be in conformity with the UNFCCC reporting guidelines.

22 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report (FCCC/ARR/2010/ITA) of the individual review of the annual submission of Italy submitted in 2010.

The expert review team (ERT) finds that the inventory submission of Italy has been prepared and reported in accordance with the UNFCCC reporting guidelines. The inventory submission is complete and Italy has submitted a complete set of common reporting format (CRF) tables for the years 1990-2008, and a national inventory report (NIR). The ERT finds that these and the report are complete in terms of geographical coverage, years and sectors, as well as complete in terms of categories and gases. Italy’s inventory is in line with the UNFCCC reporting guidelines, the Revised 1996 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines, the IPCC good practice guidance and the IPCC good practice guidance for Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry (LULUCF).
