story highlights

The information note includes the results of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project completeness checks.

11 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published an information note compiling the results of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project completeness checks, and information and reporting checks.

Upon request for registration of a CDM project and for issuance of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), the UNFCCC Secretariat conducts checks, which, among other things, are aimed to ensure that all required documents and information have been submitted. The information note includes the reasons why project registration and issuance requests fail to pass the completeness and information and reporting checks. [Information Note]
