UNFCCC Publishes IMO and WMO Submissions

The IMO submission is on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from ships engaged in international trade, and the WMO submission concerns a global framework for climate services.

19 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published two submissions (FCCC/AWGLCA/2010/MISC.9) from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) under the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) on ideas and proposals on the elements contained in paragraph 1 of the Bali Action Plan. The IMO submission is in respect to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from ships engaged in international trade, and the WMO submission concerns a global framework for climate services (GFCS). These submissions will be considered by 13th session of the AWG-LCA, which will take place in Cancun, Mexico, from 29 November 2010. [The Submissions]
