UNFCCC29 September 2014: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a note outlining the national information that will be available, and when it will be available, for consideration by the structured expert dialogue (SED). The information is grouped into three primary categories.

The first is submissions from parties, including past and upcoming submissions. The second category is national reports, including: national communications from both Annex I and non-Annex I parties; biennial reports from developed country parties; biennial update reports from developing country parties; national greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories; and reports from international assessment and review (IAR) and from international consultation and analysis (ICA).

The third cateogry is comprised of other relevant reports from parties and processes under the Convention, including: Adaptation Committee reports; national adaptation plans (NAPs); loss and damage; the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change (NWP); nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs); technology needs assessments (TNAs); Standing Committee on Finance (SCF); the Green Climate Fund (GCF); and the Durban Forum on capacity-building.

The last section outlines how all this information could inform the 2013–2015 review and suggests that at future meetings, the SED could invite representatives from the Convention processes to present information on their relevant work to the review.

An annexed table references relevant documents and links to information on the UNFCCC website, and provides an indicative outline of all the information that will be available for the SED and when. [National Information Available for Consideration by the Structured Expert Dialogue]
