UNFCCC Launches Momentum for Change Initiative Webpage

The newly launched UNFCCC Momentum for Change Initiative webpage is aimed at highlighting and enhancing the positive developments in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation, as a way to increase innovation, motivation, and capacity for further change.

The UNFCCC will make a call for submissions for projects to be showcased at COP 18/CMP 8.

UNFCCC20 February 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has launched a new Momentum for Change Initiative webpage, with links to the outstanding climate change projects showcased at the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP 17) and the seventh session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties (CMP 7) to the Kyoto Protocol.

The Momentum for Change Initiative is aimed at highlighting and enhancing the positive developments in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation, as a way to increase innovation, motivation, and capacity for further change. Later on in 2012, the UNFCCC Secretariat will be making a call for submissions of successful climate change mitigation and adaptation projects to be showcased at COP 18/CMP 8 in Doha, Qatar.
