4jan_10_13November 2009: During UN Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Helen Clark’s visit to South Korea at the end of 2009, two agreements were reached. The first agreement establishes the Korea-UNDP MDG Trust Fund to support poverty reduction and climate change initiatives, in order to further boost the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The second agreement creates the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre for Global Development Partnerships, which will replace the current UNDP country office.
