10 October 2011: On the sidelines of the 10th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP 10), Luc Gnacadja, UNCCD Executive Secretary, and Walter Ammann, President of the Global Risk Forum (GRF-Davos), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the organization of the 2nd UNCCD Scientific Conference, to be held in 2012.
