He underscored the role of the private sector in facilitating the transition to a low-carbon economy and welcomed the Board’s decision to establish a working group on the environment. He also urged the Board members to join the UN’s “Seal the Deal!” campaign for a fair, balanced and effective climate agreement in Copenhagen. [UN press release]
