UN-NGLS Solicits Stakeholder Input on FfD3 Hearing

The UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) is requesting stakeholder feedback on the format of a hearing with civil society and the business sector on the Third International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD 3).

Stakeholders are requested to comment on various options for the format of the hearing through an online survey by 9 January 2015.

NGLS29 December 2014: The UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) is requesting stakeholder feedback on the format of a hearing with civil society and the business sector on the Third International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD 3). Stakeholders are requested to comment on various options for the format of the hearing through an online survey by 9 January 2015.

The hearing with civil society and the business sector will take place on 4-5 March 2015, at UN Headquarters in New York, US. The hearing will be part of the preparatory process for FfD 3 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in July 2015.

The questions for civil society pertain to the balance and mix of sessions devoted to civil society and to the business sector. Feedback will also be solicited through the UN Global Compact.

The first intergovernmental drafting session of the FfD 3 preparatory process will convene on 27-29 January 2015, at UN Headquarters in New York, US. [Civil Society Survey] [FfD 3 Website]
