The selected 100 solutions will be presented to decision makers during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20).

11 April 2012: The Sustainia consortium called for corporations, organizations, research institutions and engaged citizens to present their sustainable solutions or ideas for inclusion in “Sustainia100” – a catalogue of sustainability best practices to be launched at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20).

Sustainia100 will comprise a pool of 100 sustainable solutions that are expected to take the world to “Sustainia” – a vision for the sustainable society. Solutions or ideas included in Sustainia100 will be those that are ready and available, scalable, collaborative, transformative, cost-effective, and that will increase quality of life. Submissions can be made via video or online, and close on 20 April 2012.

The Sustainia100 catalogue of solutions will be presented to decision makers on 20 June 2012 during Rio+20. In addition, one of the Sustainia100 solutions will be honored for “outstanding performance in sustainability” and receive the Sustainia Award. [Sustainia Call for Submissions]
