StEP Initiative Convenes General Assembly

November 2010: The 2010 General Assembly of the Solving the E-waste Problem (StEP) Initiative, a public-private sector initiative coordinated by the UN University, convened in London, UK, from 18-20 October 2010.

Attended by more than 45 StEP members, the General Assembly also elected a new Steering Committee for the 2011/2012 term. The meeting also heard updates from its five task forces on policy, reuse, recycle, redesign and capacity building.
