Stakeholder Forum Launches Papers on Sustainable Development Governance

The Stakeholder Forum has published four papers on sustainable development governance toward the UNCSD, as part of the Forum's sdg2012 initiative.

The papers were launched during the 26th session of UNEP's Governing Council.

21 February 2011: The non-governmental organization Stakeholder Forum has recently published four papers on the topic of sustainable development governance towards the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio 2012).

The papers were launched as part of Stakeholder Forum’s “sdg2012 initiative.” The papers are titled “Greening the IFIs: Finance for the next decade’s sustainable development,” by Kirk Herbertson; “World Resources Institute Environmental Institutions for the 21st Century – An International Environmental Court,” by the ICE Coalition; “Enhancing Science-Policy Links for Global Sustainability,” by Gisbert Glaser and Peter Bates, International Council for Science (ICSU); and “Reforming Global Environmental Governance: The Case for a United Nations Environment Organisation,” by Frank Biermann.
