8 February 2013: The Secretariat of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands (Ramsar Convention) has released a video meant to guide contracting parties through the process of providing updated information on all of their Ramsar Sites.
Ramsar State parties are to provide updated information on all their Sites to the Secretariat no later than every six years or on the occasion of any significant change in the ecological character of the Site. The step-by-step video, titled “4 easy steps to update a Ramsar Information Sheet,” is a training tool that aims to help parties through the process.
