August 2010: The proposed agenda for the 56th meeting of the Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), which will be held from 13-17 September 2010, in Brasília, Brazil, is now available on the CDM website.

At the meeting, the Executive Board will consider issues relating to the operation of the CDM. Among the issues on the agenda are: the accreditation of operational entities; methodologies for baselines and monitoring plans; CDM afforestation and reforestation project activities; small-scale CDM project activities; the CDM programme of activities; the registration of CDM project activities; the issuance of certified emission reductions (CERs) and the CDM registry; and the management plan and resources for the work on the CDM.
