Proposed Agenda and Draft Work Programme for EB 60 Released

The CDM Executive Board will consider matters relating to the operation of CDM projects, including issues relating to accreditation of operational entities, methodologies, afforestation and reforestation, and small-scale CDM project activities, programmes of activities, registration, issuance of certified emission reductions and the CDM management plan.

28 March 2011: The proposed agenda and draft work programme, together with the annotated agenda, for the 60th meeting of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Executive Board, to be held from 11-15 April in Bangkok, Thailand, are now available.

At the meeting, the Board will consider matters relating to the operation of the CDM, including: the accreditation of operational entities; methodologies for baselines and monitoring plans; issues relating to CDM afforestation and reforestation project activities; issues relating to small-scale CDM project activities; matters relating to CDM programmes of activities; matters relating to the registration of CDM project activities; matters relating to the issuance of certified emission reductions and the CDM registry; and the CDM management plan and resources for the work on the CDM.

Representatives from parties and UNFCCC admitted observer organizations are able to attend CDM Executive Board meetings as observers. The deadline for registration as an observer is three weeks before the meeting. A live and on-demand Internet webcast of the proceedings will also be available.
