OECDMay 2014: The Organisation for Economic and Development Co-operation (OECD) has issued a preview of its forthcoming annual report on development aid, which surveys where aid is coming from, and in what amounts.

The ‘Development Co-operation Report 2014: Mobilising Resources for Sustainable Development’ is one in a series of reports issued annually by the Chair of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC). The October 2014 report will include a focus on mobilizing funds from the private sector. It is the second in a trilogy of reports on the theme ‘Global Development Co-operation Post-2015: Managing Interdependence.’

This issue of the Development Cooperation Report is concerned with the mobilization of resources to finance the implementing of the post-2015 development agenda, as well as financial instruments to mitigate risk, and financing global public goods. Proposed measures include mobilizing domestic resources and combating illicit flows, and taxing transactions in financial markets to raise funds for sustainable development.
