New Database on European Renewable Energy Policy Launched

24 October 2012: A new RES LEGAL Europe database has been launched, offering free updated information on renewable energy support schemes and grid issues for the European Union, European Free Trade Association Countries and EU Accession Countries.

RES LEGAL Europe is managed by Eclareon, on behalf of the European Commission. It covers electricity, heating and cooling, and transport. Its goal is provide a quick overview of the different national regulations regarding renewable energy sources in a clear, concise and convenient way. The database is updated on a regular basis and the descriptions are based on legal sources. Lists of contacts in national bodies as well as of experts are also provided. A Comparison Tool allows users to compare parameters and contents of grid issues for the chosen countries and energy sectors. [RES Legal Europe]
