September 2013: The Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions has released an interactive map indicating the current status of ratification for each of the chemicals and wastes conventions.

According to the map, the Basel Convention on the Control of the Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal currently has 180 parties. The Rotterdam Convention on Prior Informed Consent (PIC) has 153 parties. The Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) has 179 parties. [Status of Ratifications]
