11 December 2012: The Secretariat of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGR) has opened an electronic consultation on the sustainable use of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture (PGRFA). Participants can respond to a questionnaire until 31 March 2013.

The consultation was launched in response to Resolution 7/2011 on the sustainable use of PGRFA and Resolution 6/2011 on farmers’ rights, adopted by the ITPGR Governing Body at its fourth session.
