IEA8 June 2012: The International Energy Agency (IEA) hosted a workshop on the use of energy efficiency indicators in policy making. The workshop gathered over 100 policy makers, analysts and statisticians from around the world, with discussions focusing on the current use of energy efficiency indicators by governments.

The workshop took place in Paris, France, from 6-7 June 2012. Participants urged policy makers to build and maintain a set of improved indicators to form the basis for sound energy efficiency policies.
