1 September 2010: The International Energy Agency (IEA) has published the 2010 edition of its annual publication “Key World Energy Statistics,” covering national production and consumption characteristics, regional trends, and other key indicators for over 130 countries.

Using the reference years of 1973 and 2008 throughout, the IEA’s 2010 Key World Energy Statistics is a 60-page compilation of charts and tables on energy: supply; transformation; consumption; balances; prices; carbon emissions; outlook (to 2030); indicators; and conversion factors. Most chapters consist of a global overview, regional breakdown, as well as numbers for countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) only, and rankings of top consuming, producing, importing and exporting countries.
