ICTSD Compiles Technology Transfer Proposals for Rio+ 20
story highlights

The information note on "Technology Transfer and Innovation: Key Country Priorities for Rio+20" compiles main country submissions on this topic.

March 2012: The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) has published a compilation of the proposals on technology transfer presented by parties within the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) negotiations.

The information note highlights the main technology transfer and innovation-related proposals in country submissions to the Rio+20 process, and presents the terms that are most recurrent in these submissions using a “tag cloud.” The note identifies priority areas, including, mechanisms, innovation, enabling environments, capacity building and know-how, intellectual property, and financial resources; and for each, summarizes main country proposals.
