The issue presents ten short pieces on the ICAO’s actions on, ideas for, and interest in addressing global climate. The publication includes an article by UNFCCC Executive Secretary Yvo de Boer noting that although recent ICAO agreements on industry action are welcomed, they must be complimented by mid-term goals to be effective. It also features sections on: alternative fuels; market-based measures; UN actions; airline commitments; and ICAO’s carbon calculator. [The Journal]
