Government Views Invited for UNSG Input on SDGs
story highlights

The survey sent to all UN Member States seeks their views on the balance among the three pillars of sustainable development and between the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the SDGs, among other issues.

28 September 2012: The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) launched a questionnaire related to the development of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). National governments are invited to complete the survey in preparation for the UN Secretary-General’s initial input to the Open Working Group (OWG) on the SDGs.

The questionnaire is also meant as a contribution to the UN-supported national consultations on the post-2015 development agenda. The survey seeks input on how governments see the balance among the three pillars of sustainable development and between the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the SDGs, among other issues.

The results of the questionnaire will be posted on the website of DESA’s Division for Sustainable Development (DSD). Responses must be submitted by 21 October 2012. An online account is required to access the survey. [Questionnaire] [DSD Website]
