14 October 2013: The Global Soil Partnership (GSP) Secretariat has placed a call for experts to join working groups developing Plans of Action for the GSP Pillars.

The GSP Pillars include: Promoting sustainable management of soil resources and improved global governance for soil protection and sustainable productivity; Encouraging investment, technical cooperation, policy, education awareness and extension in soils; and Promoting targeted soil research and development focusing on identified gaps, priorities and synergies among economic/productive, environmental and social dimensions.

The Plans of Actions will be developed for presentation at the Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils, planned for April 2014. The GSP Secretariat is seeking regionally balanced participation in the working groups. [GSP Call for Experts] [GSP website]
