Francophone Climate Negotiations Bulletin Focuses on Loss and Damage

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), Reporting Services (RS) division, has released the second in a series of seven French language bulletins produced in the lead up to the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 21) to the UNFCCC, convening in Paris, France, in November-December 2015.

The bulletin focuses on the theme of loss and damage.

The bulletin focuses on the theme of loss and damage.

The bulletin is published by the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF), through its subsidiary body, the Institute for Sustainable Development of the Francophonie (IFDD), in partnership with IISD RS, Médiaterre and Senghor University.

The first issue features an update on the state of play of climate negotiations on loss and damage. It also contains a summary of recent meetings related to the climate negotiations. The last section of the bulletin, titled ‘things to look for,’ highlights key upcoming events and milestones for the next fortnight.
