The Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe (MCPFE) Expert Level Meeting met from 5-6 June 2007, in Warsaw, Poland, to decide on the main topics of the 5th Ministerial Conference, to be convened from 5-7 November 2007.

Experts from 31 countries and 13 international organizations discussed the scope of the Ministerial Declaration and two Warsaw Resolutions, which address the linkages between forests and water, as well as wood biomass for energy.
