Documents from IEA’s Clean Energy Technologies Symposium Released

The Clean Energy Technologies Symposium included sessions on: IEA publication “Energy Technology Perspectives 2010;” the roadmapping of clean energy technology; policy pathways for energy efficiency; and IEA technology research and cooperation.

January 2011: The International Energy Agency (IEA) has released the presentations and speeches given at the Clean Energy Technologies Symposium, which took place in Singapore from 2-3 November 2010.

The Symposium focused on invigorating investment in energy efficiency, renewable energy, carbon capture and storage (CCS), nuclear power, and new transport options. The first session of the conference introduced the IEA publication “Energy Technology Perspectives 2010,” which analyzes the opportunities and challenges facing energy-intensive sectors, as well as barriers to deployment of key technologies in these sectors.
