DESA NGO News Highlights Opportunities for Input on SD, Post-2015

The latest issue of DESA NGO News highlights the MY World online survey, the Sustainable Development in Action initiative, the upcoming Bonn civil society conference, and the upcoming meeting of the High-level Panel on the Post-2015 Development Agenda, which will include a dialogue with civil society.

16 January 2013: The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) has released a new issue of “DESA NGO News.”

This issue highlights: the MY World online survey of people’s priorities for the next set of global goals; the new newsletter on “Sustainable Development in Action” being published by DSD to highlight work to implement sustainable development; and the upcoming conference on “Advancing the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda Reconfirming Rights – Recognising Limits – Redefining Goals,” which will draw together civil society’s inputs to the sustainable development and post-2015 discussions.

The newsletter also notes that the UN High-level Panel on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (HLP) will hold its next meeting in Monrovia, Liberia, from 30 January-1 February 2013, and include a dialogue with civil society.
