2dic_09_0730 November 2009: An art exhibit titled “CO2 CUBES: Visualize a Tonne of Change” will be unveiled to the public in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the Tycho Brahe Planetarium, for the launch of the 15th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC, which will convene from 7-18 December 2009.
The exhibit is a digital media art installation and communications platform designed to visualize the scale of carbon dioxide (CO2) being released into the atmosphere by human activity. The installation will be presented in partnership with the UN Department of Public Information (UNDPI), powered by Google and YouTube, produced by Obscura Digital, and hosted by the city of Copenhagen.
