28 June 2011: The Clean Energy Solutions Center, an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial and UN-Energy, has published its second newsletter containing articles on work on industrial energy efficiency in India and upcoming webinars.

The newsletter opens with a piece on a new industrial energy efficiency programme that tailors resources to country priorities in India, and continues with a piece on an upcoming webinar discussing “Financial and Policy Innovations to Support Energy Efficiency: Energy Performance Contracting and On-Bill Financing” to take place on 19 July 2011. It also features summaries of the following publications: the “Special Report on Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation” of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); and “Towards a Green Economy: Pathways to Sustainable Development and Poverty Eradication” of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
