The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) have published online a "Business Guide to the Climate Investment Funds" that describes the different funding windows as well as the role, structure and current status of the CIF.
June 2010: The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) have reported that the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and Climate First have published online a “Business Guide to the Climate Investment Funds,” which describes the different funding windows, as well as the role, structure and current status of the CIF.
The guide aims to provide the private sector with relevant information on the mechanics of the roll out process and how the private sector can get involved. It describes the main characteristics of: the Clean Technology Fund (CTF); the Strategic Climate Fund (SCF); the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR); the Forest Investment Program (FIP); and the Scaling Up Renewable Energy Program in Low Income Countries (SREP).
