July 2010: The Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security Challenge Programme (CCAFS) of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) has opened a call for methodological proposals.

The methodologies should identify spatial and temporal analogues for climate change in particular locations. Identified sites will provide useful insights for comparative analysis into future climate change. The method should be developed in a way that is easily automatable through a web platform. The initial project will run from August-December 2010 and will subsequently be used in a second phase that will focus on implementing the tool to be used in collaborative publications and enabled for the web. Applications are due by 10 August 2010. [The Call for Proposals]
