CEPF Publishes Annual Report; Showcases Investment in Biodiversity Conservation

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) has published its 2014 report showcasing projects funded around the globe and providing an overview of CEPF investments in biodiversity hotspots.

CEPF provides grants to non-governmental and private sector organizations, and focuses on conservation of biodiversity hotspots in developing and transitional countries.

cepfJuly 2015: The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) has published its 2014 report showcasing projects funded around the globe and providing an overview of CEPF investments in biodiversity hotspots. CEPF provides grants to non-governmental and private sector organizations, and focuses on conservation of biodiversity hotspots in developing and transitional countries.

The report presents CEPF-funded projects that aim to benefit ecosystems and communities, and to build transnational cooperation on conservation in biodiversity hotspots around the globe, including in the Caribbean islands, the Western Ghats region of India and the Mediterranean Basin. It highlights the growing network of CEPF grantees and provides an overview of CEPF investments, including financial data, in biodiversity hotspots, further documenting their contribution towards achievement of the Aichi biodiversity targets.
