Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has been published and
is now available on the CDM website. The CDM Executive Board, which governs the
CDM, held its 43rd meeting from 22-24 October 2008, in Santiago, Chile.
The
report contains a description of the proceedings of the meeting and matters
discussed, including: issues relating to afforestation and reforestation
projects; the programme of activities under the CDM; registration of new
projects; issuance of credits and the CDM registry; and the CDM management plan
and resources for the work on the CDM. The Executive Board also finalized its
recommendations to the fourth session of the Conference of the Parties serving
as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, on the regional
