8 October 2008: The proposed agenda and annotations,
together with the draft work programme, for the 43rd meeting of the Executive
Board (EB43) of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) are now available on the
CDM website.

EB43 will meet from 22-24 October 2008, at the UN Economic
Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in Santiago, Chile. The proposed
agenda and work programme outline that EB43 will consider issues relating to:
accreditation of operational entities; methodologies for baselines and monitoring
plans; CDM afforestation and reforestation projects; CDM programme of
activities; registration of projects; and issuance of certified emission
reductions and the CDM registry. Proceedings of the meeting will be webcast on
