8 March 2010: The proposed agenda and annotations, together with the draft work programme, for the 53rd meeting of the Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), which is scheduled to take place from 22-26 March 2010, in Bonn, Germany, is now available on the CDM website.
At the meeting, the Board will discuss matters relating to the operation of the CDM, including: the accreditation of operational entities; methodologies for baselines and monitoring plans; CDM afforestation and reforestation project activities; small-scale CDM project activities; the CDM programme of activities; the registration of CDM project activities; the issuance of certified emission reductions (CERs) and the CDM registry; and the CDM management plan and resources for the work on the CDM. Representatives from parties, as well as UNFCCC admitted observer organizations, are able to attend CDM EB meetings as observers.
