7 May 2013: The Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security Program (CCAFS) Research Program of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) has opened a regional office in Hanoi, Viet Nam, to develop climate-smart farming technologies by working with Vietnamese and international research and development partners.
The work in Southeast Asia will be hosted by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), and will complement the existing CCAFS efforts in East and West Africa and South Asia. [CCAFS Press Release]
