CCAFS Launches Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Knowledge Network
story highlights

The Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Knowledge Network (AMKN) of the research programme on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) is focused on addressing risk management, progressive adaptation and pro-poor mitigation options for agricultural and food systems.

October 2011: The research programme on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) has developed an instrument for aggregating, visualizing and connecting its research outputs.

The Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Knowledge Network (AMKN) aims to provide an innovative and user-friendly way of sharing ongoing climate change research. It is focused on addressing risk management, progressive adaptation and pro-poor mitigation options for agricultural and food systems. The network allows users to explore a large volume of climatic, environmental and social information from diverse sources. The data will cover climate, agricultural and policy issues that are grounded on adaptation and mitigation research and creates a network of users and information providers.
