(CBD) has invited parties to nominate experts to the Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group on Biodiversity and Climate Change.

The Group’s first meeting will be held from 17-21 November 2008 in London, UK,
to address scientific and technical matters concerning the links between
biodiversity and climate change with regards to identifying risks and
vulnerabilities, and impacts and opportunities from climate change mitigation. Nominations
should be received by the CBD Secretariat by 15 September 2008. [CBD notification]
